Naomi joined Scot Osterweil of MIT Education Arcade and Brian Alspach from E-Line Media, with Allisyn Levy of BrainPOP moderating, on a panel entitled Game-Based Learning: Serious Fun.
New England’s leading edtech organization LearnLaunch has selected FableVision’s CEOand Co-Founder Paul Reynolds to emcee the 2nd annual “Across Boundaries” conference on Feb. 28 and March 1, at Harvard University. Five hundred entrepreneurs, educators, investors, students, and other industry experts will participate in the conference, co-sponsored by the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where participants will explore how edtech can scale student success.

I love the Olympics and yes, I’ve been counting down the days to the Sochi Opening Ceremony. I can't help it. I've watched the Olympics as a kid, and I remember marveling at the Opening Ceremony, but the luge has always been my favorite -- it's like sledding on steroids!
There’s no school today for most of Massachusetts as a snowstorm travels through the area. Most kids have a game plan for this day off: sledding, sleeping, snowball fights, TV, and lots and lots of hot chocolate. But until the heavy snow passes and kids can play outside, we here at FableVision have a few game suggestions to try out on this wintery day. SparkBridge Interactive, FableVision's social entrepreneurship co-venture with Vancouver Aquarium, has been busy delivering award-winning mobile learning games into informal learning environments for over a year now. Building on that success, the team is expanding into retail venues.
