AlgeBreak: A Mega Fun Math Obby

Stop the evil hacker HexElla from her plan to take over the server! Play as the hero in “AlgeBreak: A Mega Fun Math Obby” by solving algebra puzzles and running through obstacle courses to break into HexElla’s lair. K12 (Stride, Inc.) collaborated with FableVision to create a Roblox game that features high school algebraic content from the K12 curriculum. K12 provided initial concepts for game engines, sample puzzles, and algebraic content that FableVision integrated into the final game design. 

“AlgeBreak” begins in a waiting area where players and their cute companion Blip, a glowing yellow bug who follows them, choose which floor they want to visit. There are seven floors (with an expansion of eight additional floors coming in fall of 2025), each featuring a mix of algebraic and purely fun challenges. Algebraic challenges include graphing on a giant floor, crossing a bridge by stepping only on numbers part of a set, and more! At the end of each floor, the player destroys a piece of HexElla’s hacking plan. Will this be enough to destroy her?

Custom 3D assets, sound effects, and all of the artwork in the game were created by FableVision.
