FableVision Studios designs and develops a wide array of engaging media that inspires, teaches, and moves people to action. The award-winning studio was founded in 1996 and has cultivated a signature blend of storytelling and technology that is sought after by best-in-class organizations across publishing, broadcasting, research, healthcare, the nonprofit space, and museum communities.

Behind this mission-driven company is a team committed to creating positive media to help move the world to a better place – and at the helm of that team are our co-founders: Peter H. Reynolds, Paul Reynolds, and Gary Goldberger.

Our Team

Peter H. Reynolds

Founder

Peter is a New York Times best-selling children's book author and illustrator (Judy Moody, The Dot, Ish, Sky Color, Someday), selling over 20 million books in over 25 languages around the globe. In 1996, he founded FableVision as a social change agency to help move the world to a better place by creating "stories that matter, stories that move." Peter also founded FableVision Learning, a K-12 educational publishing company, as well as the nonprofit Reynolds Center for Teaching, Learning, and Creativity, and an independent book and creativity shop called The Blue Bunny Bookstore in historic Dedham Square, Massachusetts. Paul Reynolds

CEO

Paul has helped build the multimillion-dollar firm into an internationally recognized multimedia developer and publisher, with partnerships, strategic alliances and clients across many industries - broadcast, museum, institutional, K12, educational publishing, technology, and research. When he's not entrenched in all things FableVision, Paul teaches digital media production at Boston College, where he has served as adjunct faculty for over two decades. Paul is also a children's book author - collaborating with his twin brother Peter H. Reynolds - on Going Places, a picture book with Simon & Schuster and a STEM-meets-Arts (STEAM) early chapter book series with Charlesbridge Publishing. Follow Paul on Twitter. Gary Goldberger

President

As president and co-founder of FableVision, Gary Goldberger oversees the production of FableVision’s award-winning media products. Since the company's launch, Gary has held many positions, and he approaches each project with a multi-faceted perspective. Gary is an expert in designing and developing innovative games for learners of all ages, and is a frequent speaker nationally on the role of games in education. Gabby Albrecht

Junior Developer

Gabby is a developer who works closely with artists, designers, and producers to bring games from concept to reality. She’s passionate about creating intuitive user experiences that are visually engaging and fun to play. Gabby began her studies in animation before ultimately completing a BS in Computer Science from UMass Amherst, blending her lifelong interests in games, art, and animation. Outside of work, Gabby is into playing guitar, getting immersed in video games, picking up new hobbies, and doodling frog-like creatures.

Jordan Bach

Technical Director

Over Jordan’s 15 years at FableVision, he has led the development of numerous kid-focused experiences for the web, mobile, console, AR, and VR. He oversees technical architecture of studio projects and brings a strong focus on inclusive design. Prior to FableVision, Jordan was a lead software engineer at Blue Fang Games and senior engineer at 360KID. Jordan studied math and music at Oberlin College and has served as a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology program. Ash Beecher

Senior Producer

Ash serves as the senior producer for audiyo-yo, where she oversees the development and creative production of podcast projects, while drawing on her experience in production management to help the team grow its capacity. Ash also contributes to process management and produces projects across divisions at FableVision. Ash’s previous children’s media experience includes working on the Emmy-nominated show Sunny Side Up at Sprout/Universal Kids, and as the Senior Production Coordinator at Pinna. Ash lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband and their pup, Zemi, where you will find them playing video games or working on their garden.

Nick Carbonara

Associate Producer

Nick assists the producer team in planning, scheduling, and managing the studio’s various projects, and is passionate about helping teams create stronger production processes. He has a BFA in Game Design and a minor in Creative Writing from New York University, and wrote the stories for a number of branching narrative and dating simulator games before joining FableVision. Outside of work, he enjoys running intrigue-filled tabletop RPG campaigns, listening to rock music, and (unironically) eating pasta carbonara. Learn more about Nick.

Esther Chae

Production Assistant

While Esther loves to tell stories, she finds her spark in project management. She supports the FableVision team by assisting in scheduling, budgeting, and preparing materials for various projects in the studio. She previously worked in TV programming and nonprofit administration. Her cross-section of passions and skills have led her to produce all things children’s media, with a special love for animation. When she’s not working, you can find her solving escape rooms, listening to music, thrifting, and going on long walks.

Michelle Ding

Associate Producer

As an associate producer, Michelle helps to lead, plan, organize, and schedule various creative projects across FableVision. She graduated in 2024 with a BFA in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and uses the skills she gained as an artist and designer to produce fun and bright interactive media. Outside of work, Michelle likes to look intensely at trees, make art, and experiment with making and playing games.

Sarah Ditkoff

Vice President of Strategic Partnerships

Sarah balances her time between proposals, business development, and client services, and works to ensure the highest possible success of projects by working with clients and FableVision’s production team. She runs point on many of FableVision’s new business and partnership conversations. Sarah speaks nationally on the importance of game-based learning in the classroom. She is part of the Advisory Group for the Power of Zero, a global initiative to ensure that every child learns the life skills needed to navigate their online-offline lives. Vath Doangratheep

Production Artist

Vath is an illustrator and designer passionate about the crossroads of educational media and play. She graduated from Lesley University College of Art and Design with a BFA in Animation with a minor in Illustration. As a Production Artist at FableVision, she collaborates with producers, animators, and developers to design games, apps, websites, and more that teach and inspire. Vath is interested in education, science, and environmental preservation. She loves taking care of her houseplants, playing video games, picking up new hobbies, and going on walks with her two orange cats: Peanut and Louie!

Snow (Xue) Dong

Producer

As a producer, Snow works on planning, budgeting, and client communication for various educational media projects. Snow has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Visual Arts from Harvard College, with a focus on educational equity and animation. Her interest in children’s media stems from watching Uncle Dong Hao, a Chinese children’s TV host, as a child, and researching Mister Rogers and Sesame Street in adulthood. She hopes to follow her heroes and bring meaningful content to families across cultures. Outside of work, Snow attempts personal projects such as painting, songwriting, and baking. Bob Flynn

Director of Art and Animation

Bob is a cartoonist, illustrator, and doodler specializing in animation, character design, and drawing weird little creatures. Since joining the studio in 2004, he has collaborated on numerous projects, applying a variety of stylistic approaches to animated films, games, websites, apps, and books for clients such as the National Academy of Sciences, PBS, and the Denver Museum of Nature Science. Josh Finkel

Associate Producer

Josh is an associate producer and designer who supports the FableVision team by conceptualizing, documenting, and prototyping new games for various clients. At FableVision, Josh is driven not only by his passion for game design, but also by the company's commitment to using art and interactive media as powerful tools for education and positive social impact. Josh graduated from NYU in 2023 with a BFA in Game Design and two minors in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology, and in Animal Studies. Schuyler Fox

Producer

Schuyler manages the production for a range of large-scale projects including animation, podcasts, games, and interactives. She’s also involved with playtesting FableVision products to ensure each project’s educational goals and creative vision are fulfilled. Schuyler has Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from Pomona College and a Master’s in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is driven by her passion for using storytelling and media to educate and inspire.

Jonah Gaynor

Producer

Jonah works with and coordinates various multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality games, animation, and more to FableVision partners. Jonah has a background in game production, with a bachelor’s degree in Game Design from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He also studied early childhood development and psychology, and has marketing and project management experience in a variety of fields. Adam Gravett

Artist/Animator

Adam has always had a strong passion for animation and loves cartoons almost as much as he loves hats. After graduating from Lesley University in 2020 with a BFA in animation, he soon began working as a freelance animator for a variety of businesses and studios, including FableVision. Now Adam helps to bring FableVision’s colorful character to life with his animation, while also expanding his impressive hat collection on the side. Learn more about Adam.

Leigh Hallisey

Creative Director

As FableVision’s Creative Director, Leigh shapes each project’s creative vision to increase relevance, personal meaning, and learning. From generating a project’s “big idea” to writing animation, game scripts, and songs, she works with the production team to bring the client’s vision to life. Leigh is also FableVision’s head writer and oversees our Experience Design Group (EDG). Before joining FableVision, Leigh was an adjunct professor at Boston University’s College of Communication. Diana "Didi" Hatcher

Lead Animator

Diana “Didi” Hatcher is the Lead Animator at FableVision. Born and raised in Bulgaria, Didi began drawing as soon as she could hold a pencil. Her passion for drawing evolved in college, where she fell in love with animation and pursued stop motion. Didi received her BA in animation from Harvard, and joined FableVision after graduating in 2007. Throughout her long journey with FableVision, Didi has been expanding her skill set and applying it to the vast variety of projects she has worked on, both as an animator and as a project lead. She’s especially fond of bringing Peter H. Reynolds’ books to life as films, as well as animating goats. Learn more about Didi.

Maham Ismail

UX/UI and Game Designer

Maham helps design games, interactives, apps, and websites that are engaging, intuitive, and accessible. She crafts detailed design documents and wireframes for artists and developers. Maham began her design career in 2018 at an emerging startup, working on motion-based learning games for children with disabilities. She went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Digital Media & Game Design at Northeastern University, which included a co-op at FableVision, and joined the studio team after graduation. Christina Kelly

Senior Designer

Originally from San Diego, CA, Christina graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a degree in Illustration in 2013, and has spent her years since working in the animation industry. As a character designer, background, and prop artist, she helped make the art for over 50 episodes of Astroblast!, as well as WordGirl, SciGirls, and the Annecy Film Festival featured piece Rhino Named Paul. Along with her design work in animation, she has also worked on countless games and interactive content for Sesame Street, PBS KIDS, and more. You can see some of Christina's work on her website. Adam Landry

Executive Vice President

Adam provides financial leadership in order to ensure the success of FableVision’s mission. With a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a master’s from the University of Massachusetts-Boston, he provides insight on many fronts for the Studio, including business development, marketing, and operations. Adam spent his early days working for Wonder Bread and participated in their management-training program. John Lechner

Art Director

As a founding member of FableVision, John has been a contributor to countless projects over the years. John is an illustrator, animator, designer, programmer, puppeteer, and storyteller. He has directed or co-directed many of FableVision's classic animated films, including The Blue Shoe, The North Star, and He Was Me. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, John has also written and illustrated four books for children, and draws a weekly webcomic. Learn more about John.

Jill Letteney

Producer

As a producer, Jill's main role is to coordinate, manage, and facilitate a variety of studio projects. Jill spent 15 years at Harvard in project management and event coordination. She has a BA in Classics from UMass Amherst and an MLA in Museum Studies from Harvard Extension School. She is an active participant in the Harvard Square Script Writers group, as well as Harvardwood, an arts and entertainment group for Harvard alumni. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children (who tolerate her obsession with Irish music and St. Patrick's Day every year). Learn more about Jill.

Rachel Reade Marcus

Vice President of Development

Rachel spearheads original IP development for moonladder and assists in business development across FableVision's other creative divisions. Her passion is creating innovative, quality animated content for all ages through mentoring new talent, and fostering long-term creative partnerships. Prior to joining FableVision, Rachel worked at Nickelodeon developing new IP across their digital platforms, and was the VP of Development at Guru Studio where she led the company’s development of original IP. She co-created the studio’s series Pikwik Pack, and served as Executive Producer on the comedy adventure series Big Blue with CBC.

Shannon Frederick Meneses

Producer

As a producer at FableVision, Shannon coordinates, plans, and manages a breadth of projects - including engaging games, interactive applications, animated series, and websites. She also works as the Executive Producer at Learning Games Network, and previously worked as a website and analytics consultant for The Family Dinner Project and a producer at Six Red Marbles. She earned a B.S. in Television, Radio, and Film from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications. Shannon lives outside of Boston with her husband and two children who are always eager to see what project she will work on next. Learn more about Shannon.

Julie Oliveira

Lead Designer

Julie earned her bachelor's in animation from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where she completed a thesis film that was screened in film festivals around the world. Prior to joining the FableVision team, Julie worked as a freelance artist for the studio along with other local businesses. Her main focus is in narrative, character, and color design, and her goal is to produce artwork that pokes at nostalgia, sentimentality, and the imagination that lies within anyone of any age. Kellian Adams Pletcher

Director of G.L.A.M. Innovation

Kellian, our Director of G.L.A.M. (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) Innovation, has been building games and interactives for cultural spaces since 2008. Her work includes mobile games like Murder at the Met, video games like LXB with the Association of Children’s Museums, and location-based puzzle hunts like Mystery of the Megatherium Club at the Smithsonian. She also produces immersive theater like Club Drosselmeyer and The Cthulhu Luau. Kellian loves escape rooms, vintage films, and swing dancing. Anne Richards

Vice President, audiyo-yo

Anne is an award-winning children’s creative executive with over 20 years of experience leading projects for audio, interactive, and television. Prior to joining FableVision, Anne was executive producer at children’s audio streaming service Pinna. She supervised creative development and production on a wide range of podcast series for young audiences, including creating and producing Quentin & Alfie’s ABC Adventures, which won the Parents' Choice Gold award and has been adapted into a book series by Macmillan. Andrew Start

Senior Developer

Andrew serves as the developer on various studio projects and enjoys enabling designers, artists, and his fellow developers to build amazing games, interactives, and more. Previously, Andrew worked at CloudKid and holds a degree in Electronic Game Programming from Champlain College. Outside of work, his hobbies include consuming all sorts of fantasy and sci-fi media, playing video and board games, ultimate frisbee, and inflicting bad puns on people. Learn more about Andrew.

Peter Stidwill

Executive Producer

As FableVision’s executive producer, Peter leads the company’s effort to manage multiple animations, games, websites, apps, videos, and museum exhibits simultaneously. He oversees the staffing of the creative studio, ensuring that teams are set up to meet the varied needs of all projects and clients. Peter has over 15 years of design and production experience in game-based learning and educational technology. He has produced award-winning interactive content for the Learning Games Network, the BBC, and the UK Parliament. Peter holds a B.A. and M.Eng. from Cambridge University (UK) where he specialized in digital learning. Learn more about Peter.

Tone Thyne

Vice President, moonladder

Overseeing development and production of FableVision’s original broadcast properties, Tone has acted as writer, director, showrunner on projects for PBS, Mattel, Aardman, Sesame Workshop, among others. He was showrunner of Apple’s Sago Mini Friends, showrunner/head writer for Netflix’s Emmy award-winning Go Go Cory Carson, and Supervising Producer of Nick Jr’s Emmy award-winning Wonder Pets! At Walt Disney Feature Animation, Tone contributed to blockbuster films such as The Lion King, Pocahontas, Tarzan, and Toy Story, among others. He has animated segments for Sesame Street and is co-creator of the CSA award-winning series The Adventures of Napkin Man. Learn more about Tone and moonladder.

Brina Valeri

Marketing Strategist

Brina works with FableVision’s production team and studio partners to successfully promote our projects to the world. She helps craft long and short-form content across the studio’s social media accounts, website, and beyond. Brina has her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Emerson College, with a double minor in Media Studies and Hearing and Deafness. Her love for children’s media stems from her closeness with her younger brother. She is passionate about media that makes a positive impact on kids’ lives. Outside of work, Brina is an avid movie watcher, puzzler, and beach goer.

Nathan Wentworth

Developer

Nathan is a programmer and creative problem solver who studied game design at Fitchburg State University. He serves as the developer of various studio projects, including games and websites, and works with artists, animators, writers, and producers to ensure a polished final product.
