Transcend is an organization committed to supporting school communities to create equitable learning for all. To help explain its interactive platform, The Innovative Models Exchange, Transcend partnered with FableVision for a short, engaging explainer video that explores the purpose of the program in an accessible and visually appealing way.
The video starts with a diverse group of children and explains how students with equal potential can be forced into the same mold, regardless of what will actually help them succeed. The animation takes viewers through the features and benefits of the platform, such as the ability to find inspiring models and the resources and support available to help implement them. Whimsical blocks show how different models can be stitched together to reimagine schools and make complex topics more approachable. By comparing the bleak, one-size-fits-all industrial era schooling to the unique building blocks of innovative models, the importance of reimagining schooling shines through.
