Clinical Research Video Series

Client: Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP)

To de-mystify the clinical trial process and detail the roles of those involved in creating a method of immunization at the height of the 2020 global pandemic, the Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) turned to FableVision to create an informational video series. The procedures of these clinical trials are shown from a patient’s perspective to educate the public on the path that health officials need to take in order to find a method of immunization.

The first video, General Overview of the Clinical Research Process, provides clarity regarding the four phases of clinical trials and the guidelines provided by government agencies to ensure that the safest and most effective therapies reach the public. In a Q&A segment, Dr. Jonathan Jackson from Massachusetts General Hospital answers commonly asked questions regarding clinical trials and the process of volunteering for one. In video two, Basics of Clinical Trial Participation, viewers learn about the different types of review processes and how trials adapt in response to crises and challenges. The Clinical Research Team is similar to a Sports Team, the third video in the series, addresses the roles of the various team members who play a part in a clinical trial. Using motion graphics and a colorful shape-based technique, FableVision designed the look and feel to effectively present the important information clearly and emulate the importance of diversity in the field of medicine, especially in clinical trials.
