Just ran across this quote from Brazilian author/education reformer Paulo Freire: "I believe in the pedagogy of curiosity.  That's why I defend ... the pedagogy of the question and not of the answer.  The pedagogy of the question is the one that is based on curiosity."

I love that.  It's a good reminder to education media/software developers who seem intent on packaging the "answers" for kids to click through - consuming content/standards - and meanwhile letting their natural curiosity, creativity and invention to languish.
