Geniverse is a new kind of high-school genetics online course, using narrative and elements of game play to engage students in virtual lab experiments. In Geniverse, students investigate dragon phenotypes and genotypes, run breeding experiments, and solve genetics problems in a virtual lab. FableVision developed narrative storyline and game-like elements of the curriculum. We designed and created characters, user interface, contextual environments, and original music.
