Imagine this: two cops show up at your door to arrest you for murder. You know you didn’t do the crime, but they’ve got your DNA to prove you did. FRONTLINE, PBS’ award-winning documentary series that takes a compelling look at complex and controversial problems, partnered with FableVision Studios to illustrate the topic of DNA evidence.
FRONTLINE’s YouTube channel hosts a series of mini-documentaries, and they looked to FableVision to create motion graphics that would appeal to a youthful audience. For The Case Against DNA Evidence episode, FableVision established and used a motion graphic style that incorporated typography, a geometric/angular theme, and a darker, sophisticated color palate.
