Nine FableVision Podcast & Game Project Launches for the 2025 Fall Season
As the weather cools and the season officially changes, we are excited to take a moment to pause and highlight our most recent accomplishments. We had a whopping nine projects launch this season! Read below for updates on these podcasts and games.
Podcasts
LOC Mixtape (FableVision Studios, Library of Congress, Maryland Public Television)
Listen to some of the “best, craziest, and most inspiring” pieces of music from the Library of Congress archives in the audiyo-yo original podcast, the “LOC Mixtape!” Hosted by Postell Pringle, “LOC Mixtape” digs into the stacks of the largest library in the world to make the ultimate mixtape. The show mixes up the pieces of music, talks to experts, and brings in amazing contemporary recording artists to make new songs inspired by those archives.
Dora’s Mermaid Adventures (Nickelodeon)
“I’ll give this charango a strum, and magical mermaids we’ll become!” Join Dora, Boots, and their new friends Rosa the dolphin and Marisol the mermaid as they swim through the Sirena Sea in “Dora's Mermaid Adventures!” Created by Nickelodeon and produced by FableVision’s audiyo-yo, this musical adventure podcast is available wherever you get your podcasts!
SoundTrekkers: Sailing the Seven Cs (Yoto)
Embark on a voyage with the Soundtrekkers Crew in Yoto’s hilarious new audio series: “SoundTrekkers: Sailing the Seven Cs,” created for kids ages 3-12. The undersea adventure series created, written, and directed by FableVision’s Tone Thyne and produced by FableVision’s audiyo-yo features a crew of three sound-collecting friends navigating their whale-shaped submarine through the world’s oceans.
Clever Tonies: Every Body’s Talkin’ (tonies)
Everyone, please take your seats for the newest late-night talk show… about the human body! “Clever Tonies: Every Body’s Talkin’” is a tonies series produced by FableVision’s audiyo-yo that turns anatomy education into a laugh-out-loud experience. Structured like a late-night variety show, Ellie Bow and her sidekick Penn D. Cytis host this show that has a lineup of body-part guests in each episode, recurring segments like “Carpool Ellie-Okie,” original songs, and parody commercials. When it comes to learning, laughter is the best medicine!
Games
Nunaka: My Village (Chugachmiut)
Cama’i! “Nunaka: My Village” created in collaboration by Chugachmiut and FableVision Studios, is a story-based language and culture learning game for Sugpiaq preschoolers in the Chugachmiut region of Alaska. The game originally launched in 2023 and the latest release included a robust 10-month intergenerational co-design process with teens, elders, and preschoolers from the Chugach region. Through fun minigames, including tracing letters by carving wood, smoking salmon, and picking bidarki, and exploring a Sugpiaq village with their grandparents, Emaa and Apaa, preschoolers learn about Sugpiaq culture and the endangered Alaskan Native Sugt’stun language.
AlgeBreak: A Mega Fun Math Obby (Stride/K12)
Stop the evil hacker HexElla from her plan to take over the server! Break into HexElla’s lair in the brand new Roblox game from Stride Learning and developed by FableVision., “AlgeBreak: A Mega Fun Math Obby.” Each floor covers a different high school algebra topic, from absolute value functions to irrational numbers, and at the end of each floor, the player destroys a piece of HexElla’s hacking plan. GASHA GO! World: Story Builder (Georgia Public Broadcasting)
Teach kids how to build their own story with “GASHA GO! World: Story Builder!” The Gashlings are on a mission to stock their library with new books for everyone to enjoy, and they need the player’s help to turn their ideas into fun stories! This new game in “GASHA GO! World,” created by Georgia Public Broadcasting with the Georgia Department of Education and FableVision Studios, teaches foundational literacy skills by creatively practicing narrative structure and sequencing.
You Are the Historian: Mayflower Compact (Plimoth Patuxet Museums)
Did you know the structure of America’s government comes from a document written aboard the Mayflower? Learn about the Mayflower Compact in the new interactive created by Plimoth Patuxet Museums with FableVision Studios! Middle schoolers take on the role of an employee at a time travel agency. Their main objective is to organize the chaotic historical tour of the Mayflower’s 1620 journey and its passengers’ creation of the Compact. There are six minigames players will complete and use to resolve office conflicts between their fictional coworkers, mirroring the themes of compromise and governance within the Mayflower Compact repackaged in a modern context.
Solar Storm Watcher (UCAR)
As part of the Sun-Earth Connections exhibit in the National Center for Atmospheric Research Mesa Lab Visitor Center, “Solar Storm Watcher” is an interactive game created by UCAR Center for Science Education and FableVision Studios that takes players through a simulated emergency response to a solar flare or coronal mass ejection. Players measure the size of the storm, analyze the information presented, and make the correct preventative decisions.
