International Dot Day is a worldwide celebration of creativity, inspired by FableVision's founder Peter H. Reynolds and his book The Dot. For Dot Day 2012, the creative folks at FableVision Studios made their own dots, which we've shared below. It's a big year for Dot Day (the official day is September 15-ish). It's the 10th anniversary, and over 1 million people have signed up. We'll be making dots in-studio again tomorrow, so keep an eye on our Twitter feed, as we'll be tweeting them out. In honor of International Dot Day, Weston Woods will be offering Ish, The Dot, and Sky Color animated films for the classroom all by Peter H. Reynolds at 15% off list price the rest of the month. To order call 1800.243.5020 or email westonwoodsorders@scholastic.com and mention promo code DD93013. You can also celebrate International Dot Day with Peter at the Eric Carle Museum on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 1:00 PM. More event details can be found here.
