When Lucy receives a mail-order unicorn, it’s not exactly the magical creature she had in mind. In fact, it doesn’t appear to be magical at all. Lucy quickly learns to love her newfound friend though, and learns an important lesson along the way: you can’t always get what you want, but you might just find you get what you need. This is the story of A Unicorn Named Sparkle, written by Amy Young. FableVision produced the short, animated book trailer for Macmillan Children’s Publishing.

Created for the purpose of promoting the book, FableVision brought the story of Lucy and Sparkle to life. Using the artwork and assets from the book as source material and inspiration, FableVision scripted and animated the project, and added original sound design.
