Go Wild! With Ranger Rick

Which animal lives in the southeastern United States, and eats fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals? The American alligator! Go Wild! With Ranger Rick is a rewards and engagement app that complements the beloved Ranger Rick magazines. Targeting 4-8-year-olds, this app bridges the age gap between Ranger Rick Jr. readers (3-5-years old) and Ranger Rick readers (7-9-years old). The app is free with a Ranger Rick magazine subscription, encouraging parents, grandparents, and caretakers to subscribe or purchase the app as a standalone for the same price. 

The app includes three activities: Mystery Animal, That’s Wild!, and Rick’s Pix. In Mystery Animal, players guess the animal based on a range of clues. In That’s Wild!, they engage with fun facts, riddles, and jokes all based on their favorite animals. In Rick’s Pix, they take or select photos to decorate with stickers, frames, and nature backgrounds, saving their favorites to the app’s scrapbook. FableVision designed the app interface to be similar to social media feeds: the latest activities appear at the top and kids can favorite content. Overall, this app immerses young players into a vibrant, saturated, natural world with a lot of wood and leaf elements alongside with all activities.
