Anne Richards created and wrote the three titles in the Pinna Original Yes No Audio Escapes series – Escape the Sinking Ship, Escape the Haunted House, and Escape the Marshmallow Dream Forest – based on the Yes No Audio format she helped develop while an Executive Producer at Pinna, an audio streaming service for kids 3-12. After moving to audiyo-yo, Anne produced these titles using the excellent resources and talent of FableVision’s podcast division.
In each scenario, a host character leads the listener through the story, asking yes or no questions and showing the listener’s path and overall outcome. Although players have five minutes to escape, they can replay if they fail, making the possibilities of gameplay endless.
audiyo-yo was uniquely positioned to produce this new series, drawing on Anne Richards' experience in interactive development and audio production to create a new format of compelling, immersive stories that let the listener be the main character.
