FableVision Takes On Orlando at FETC Conference

FableVisionaries Naomi Greenfield and Sarah Ditkoff recently journeyed to Orlando for FETC (the Florida Educational Technology Conference). Naomi joined Scot Osterweil of MIT Education Arcade and Brian Alspach from E-Line Media, with Allisyn Levy of BrainPOP moderating, on a panel entitled Game-Based Learning: Serious Fun.

Throwback Thursday: Celebrate the Olympics with FableVision's Classic in the Jurassic, Jr. Games

Let’s talk sports! I bet you didn’t expect to read that from a media development company. But it is almost time for the Sochi 2014 Olympics. I love the Olympics and yes, I’ve been counting down the days to the Sochi Opening Ceremony. I can't help it. I've watched the Olympics as a kid, and I remember marveling at the Opening Ceremony, but the luge has always been my favorite -- it's like sledding on steroids!

FableVision Intern Attends WGBH Summit

On Wednesday, Oct. 23, I had the opportunity to help WGBH in overseeing the Race to the Top – Early Learning Challenge (RTT-ELC) Leadership Summit in Boston. The conference was organized to create dialogue about the RTT-ELC federal program among educators and administrators from museums, schools, government agencies, media companies, and nonprofits. The program is designed to close the achievement gap for high-needs children, and to ensure that all children enter kindergarten ready to succeed. Massachusetts received $50M over four years (2012-2015) to strengthen the state’s comprehensive early childhood education system.
