Farm Blitz

Commonwealth, a nonprofit organization that provides innovative financial education to low-income families, enlisted FableVision to create three casual games that help build basic financial literacy skills. The audience for the games is low-income young adults, with a special focus on women and minorities. 

In Farm Blitz, the player learns about positive and negative compound interest by taking on the role of a farmer, harvesting crops, paying off debt and putting money into savings.

After having great success with Bite Club, Staples, Inc. wanted to re-brand another Commonwealth game for its employees and make it mobile. Recently released, Farm Blitz mobile helps Staples’ employees understand compound interest, the value of low-interest, long-term savings, and the perils of high-interest, short-term debt. In developing Farm Blitz for Staples, Inc., FableVision added tips about money management, achievement badges, and Google analytics. The game is available in the App and Google Play stores.
